The Culture of Conservation
Our crew on Operation Requiem has been traveling from Solomon Islands to Vanuatu to Fiji to Tonga - listening, learning and immersing themselves in local tradition - while building awareness, developing partnerships and defending the oceans. One critical lesson they've learned is that to be effective, conservation must be closely linked to community, local action and culture. Hear their perspective and see them in a great exchange that will undoubtedly lead to good things for the oceans.
