Texas VegFest, Austin TX

This was the first year of Texas VegFest in Austin, TX, and it certainly didn't disappoint. The event included 70+ environmentally concerned organizations and restaurants and over 1,000 attendees looking to learn all about the benefits of a plant-based diet on both our personal health and our planet. Attendees enjoyed vegan and vegetarian cuisine, live music, and a beautiful day on Town Lake. The volunteers at our booth remained busy all throughout the day. Most people walking past stopped to either ask questions or to tell us how excited they were to see us at the event! Being surrounded by so many environmentally concerned people was inspiring and I hope we return next year!
