Santa Clarita Valley Pet and Family Expo
Sea Shepherd was present at the 2011 Pet and Family Expo in Santa Clarita Valley and over 1500 people were in attendance. The event lasted all day and consisted of dog and cat adoptions, animal behaviorists, musical performances, and celebrities Mackenzie Phillips and Linda Blair. There was even amazing entertainment to be had, like skate boarding bulldogs!
Onshore volunteers Jonathan, Fernando Pineda, and Carol Whalen were on hand to run the table and talk about Sea Shepherd and marine conservation issues. They also handed out brochures, sold some great merchandise, and informed the public about how to become a member of our Direct Action Crew recurring gift program. A great day was had by all and we hope to see you there next year!
