“Non-Profit Mondays” at WaterCourse Foods, Denver Chapter
WaterCourse Foods, a vegetarian restaurant located in Denver, Colorado, holds a weekly benefit called “Non-Profit Mondays” where it donates 10%-15% of that day’s sales to a select local or national non-profit organization that focuses on the environment, education, or animals.
Sea Shepherd Conservation Society was selected to be the recipient of the April 25, 2011 “Non-Profit Mondays” fundraiser. This was the second time Sea Shepherd has been chosen to benefit from WaterCourse Foods’ non-profit fundraising program and we were very grateful to be a part of it.
During the entire day, local Sea Shepherd Denver onshore volunteers were present talking to patrons about Sea Shepherd and the issues facing our oceans. We had a great turnout of local Sea Shepherd supporters and were able to gain some new supporters and much needed donations in the process. Thank you to the entire staff at WaterCourse Foods for helping non-profits with your weekly “Non-Profit Mondays” donation program!
