BLACKFISH screening at Hunter College

Sea Shepherd Cove Guardians and NYC-chapter volunteers Dayna Rozental and Ethan Wolf were honored to join former John Hargrove, former SeaWorld trainer turned anti-orca captivity activist, and Rose McCoy, the young anti-orca captivity activist who tried to stop the SeaWorld float during the Macy's Day Parade and the Rose Bowl Parade, for an educational night and presentations after the screening of the documentary Blackfish. More than fifty people filled the room at Hunter College and learned about the plight of orcas as well as the undeniable link between orca captivity and the horrors of Taiji, Japan. A special thanks to the event organizers and to the hosts at Hunter College.
