Taiji Update: More Dolphins in Peril - We Need Your Help!

8 dolphins taken captive, 2 drowned while being taken captive, an unknown number have been killed but they are preparing to release 40 or so. We believe that the Taiji fishermen are being heavily pressured by the government. We must keep the pressure on. Keep those phones calls, faxes and e-mails coming.

What is new this year is they are releasing some dolphins. Why we don’t know. But there are clear indications that the Cove Guardians are costing the Japanese police and Coast Guard a considerable expense and that the constant barrage of phone calls, faxes, and e-mails is making an impression.

We must continue to hammer the Japanese government relentlessly. Our passion for saving these dolphins must be stronger than their lust to kill.

WRITE:  Send a letter, e-mail, and/or fax to the Prime Minister of Japan, the Minister of Fisheries, your local embassy or consulate and other Japanese officials to let them know that this barbaric slaughter is unacceptable.
