The End of Antarctic Whaling?

Animal Planet's award-winning Whale Wars returns for a fourth captivating season documenting Sea Shepherd's whale defense campaign on the Antarctic high seas.

This season's 10 episodes follow the cat-and-mouse game at the far end of the globe between us (the conservationists) and the illegal whalers. For seven whaling seasons, Captain Paul Watson and the dedicated crew of volunteers have worked to stop the Japanese whalers from illegally killing over 1,000 whales each year in the Southern Ocean Whale Sanctuary.

This time there is no compromise - the bloodshed must stop once and for all. Watch us save the lives over 800 whales!

Return to the seas this season with familiar crewmembers as well as some new faces. Captain Watson leads the team, with the aid of Alex Cornelissen, captain of the Bob Barker, and Lockhart MacLean, captain of the Gojira, Sea Shepherd's sleek new interceptor vessel. Last year, the third season of Whale Wars was a massive success, averaging nearly 1.4 million viewers per episode. The word is spreading and this year millions of people around the world have tuned in to watch the most exciting and meaningful reality show on TV.
