Namibia Seal Campaign Home:

OVER 90,000 SEALS SLATED FOR DEATH

This obscene slaughter of seals in a Namibian nature reserve violates national and international laws. Sea Shepherd will see to it that Namibia's dirty little secret is widely exposed until the Southern Hemisphere's sole seal cull is abolished.

-- The annual slaughter of 85,000 baby seal pups and a further 6,000 bulls in Namibia is slated to begin on July 1st of each year. -- For the following 139 days, terrified pups will be rounded up, separated from their mothers, and violently beaten to death. -- Pups, bulls, and mothers will be surrounded...men with clubs will move in and the seals will be massacred. -- At 6am each morning, the sand on the beach will literally be stained red with blood, the bloody bodies thrown into the backs of waiting vehicles. -- At 9am each morning, bulldozers will be brought in to clean up and restore the beach before the tourists arrive to view the colony, because all of this happens in a designated seal reserve.

Please stand with Sea Shepherd - we are committed to stopping this atrocity!
