April 16th, 2011 Whale Jam
The Sea Shepherd Coffs Harbour chapter held an extremely successful fundraiser in April. It was held at a local art gallery, with incredible live music including the Deckchairs and a huge amount of local and regional artworks that were created and donated specifically for the event. The night was a great success with a variety of people of all demographics coming to show their support for the cause. With most artworks being sold and an inspiring turnout we raised a great amount of money and awareness for Sea Shepherd.

February 5th, 2011 Valla Community Markets
On Saturday Sea Shepherd Coffs Harbour held a stall at the Valla Community Markets, held every second month. While it's a relatively small market, it has a great atmosphere and many people stopped by to have a chat and show their support. It was a great opportunity to update passers by on the current Operation No Compromise campaign in the Southern Ocean. Thank you everyone for your generosity!

November 20th, 2010 Open Arms Festival - Coffs Harbour Showgrounds
The Open Arms Festival was a great day of exposure for Sea Shepherd. As thousands of festival goers passed by the stall there were a lot of interested people stopping for a chat about the work Sea Shepherd does. It was a great opportunity to inform people of the upcoming campaign 'Operation No Compromise' which kicks off early December.
It was heartening to come across an extremely generous young boy who gave a donation of over twenty dollars - thank you so much. It was so great to see such compassion and generosity among the younger generation.

November 12th, 2010 Sea Shepherd Fundraiser Gig
On The 12th of November Sea Shepherd Coffs Harbour was very excited to hold our very first fundraiser gig. The people of Coffs Harbour did a great job showing their support with over two hundred people attending. It was amazing the amount of people that showed interest in wanting to get involved, learn more and make a difference for our ocean's wildlife.
Having a projector set up playing Sea Shepherd promo videos was a great way for people to see first-hand the problems facing our oceans, and the direct action approach Sea Shepherd takes to intervene.
The night was a great success with local bands getting behind the cause and rocking the stage. Also a massive thankyou goes out to, on- going Sea Shepherd Supporter DJ Izm from Bliss N Eso, who made a special effort by donating his time and talent to headline the gig.
Plus a huge thank you to volunteers Caitlin and Raphy for doing an awesome job manning the merchandise table and answering any questions people had about the work Sea Shepherd does. Also a special thank you to Simon Coates Audio Visual Solutions for showing his support to sea shepherd by providing everything sound.

November 7th, 2011 Barney Miller Surf Classic
Sea Shepherd Coffs Harbour was proud to hold a stall at the well known Barney Miller Classic Surf competition on Sunday. It was a great day of exposure, with the Sea Shepherd banner being seen by lots of interested ocean loving locals. On top of that, the stall was facing the ocean, and we were lucky enough to spot a whale heading south back to Antarctica! It was a great motivation and drummed home why we were there.

October 31st, 2010 Coffs Harbour Jetty Markets
The Sea Shepherd Coffs Harbour volunteers had another succesful day at the Jetty Markets. With a bunch of new stock including t-shirts and caps, and a screen set up playing Sea Shepherd DVDs, the group attracted existing supporters as well as many curious market goers, keen to learn more. A great day!

October 17th, 2010 Coffs Harbour Jetty Markets
Sea Shepherd Coffs Harbour's first stall was a raging success. Many people came along to show their support, buy merchandise and learn more about the great work Sea Shepherd does. Despite being a relatively small market, we raised a significant amount in donations and our brand new Sea Shepherd stubby holders proved to be a hot merchandise item, both of which will allow us to continue in the work we do!
