Past Events:
March 30th Xavier Rudd in Adelaide
Xavier Rudd and the Governor Hindmarsh Hotel kindly allowed Sea Shepherd to be part of the Adelaide shows for Xavier. We were grateful and surprised to get into both nights.
A young local James Abberly put on a great start to the show and was really excited to have Sea Shepherd there. Xavier as always put on an excellent show and praised Sea Shepherd so much on both nights. Thanks to Xavier for spending time with our volunteers after the show.
Once again we have lots of interest on the guest log, and the support for merchandise was amazing. Thanks to Allison and Michelle for their amazing effort in putting together successive nights. Thanks to Xavier and The Gov!!

March 4th Clean up Australia Day
Sea Shepherd Adelaide volunteers teamed up with Tammy Franks and Jamnes Danenberg from The Greens. They decided to tackle the Glenelg beach area for the clean up.
About a dozen volunteers scoured the walking track along the beach and managed to collect lots of cigarette butts, bottled, lighters, plastic cups etc. The small group of dedicated people attracted some attention and were able to sell some SSCS Merch as well to the locals as well.
We hope to see more volunteers next year.

March 3rd Soundwave Adelaide
Early on a Saturday morning the Adelaide chapter of Sea Shepherd lead by new coordinator Geoff head off for their first ever Soundwave festival. According to Geoff the Soundwave organisers were so friendly and helpful to the new crew, they gave them a magnificent stand in close proximity of the crowds, where they got to sample all threee stages at once.
Lots of interested parties at the event and they had many people sign up for the SSCS e-news. The interest was from all walks of life and merchandise sold well.
Thanks so much to the soundwave crew and look forward to Soundwave 2013.
